Elise goes Hifi...
This statement may sound a little bit ridiculous at first sight as the Lotus
Elise offers the least but optimum conditions for high quality sound reproduction.
So it is really no wonder that a lot of the owners have completely removed all audio equipment from their cars. The reasons for
this are quite obvious:
- Lousy quality of the original speakers
- nearly no alternative speakers available due to the rare 158mm basket size
- Original mounting places are unsuitable for good sound reproduction
- No mounting holes in the dashboard or door panels for front speakers
- No absorbing materials like carpets, etc. in the interior
- Extremely noisy environment
- Additional weight for amplifiers or larger speakers contradicts the car’s philosophy.
It’s time for a change...
At the latest when you’ve read this website, you’ll understand what we mean when
