Less weight seems to be impossible...
The 100mm woofer looks a little bit fragile at first sight - so small and lightweight yet a full driver with acoustical and technical features that perfectly fit into the
concept of the Elise Audio System.
A stiff paper cone, a front-side mounted neodymium magnet and a large linear cone excursion makes this driver well suited for small closed box applications. Here as well we decided to use
a 2 ohms voice coil to achieve a higher power output from the amps.
With a total weight of only 179g this speaker is the most lightweight 100mm woofer available on the market today.
